2024 Updates & Equipped Consciousness Launch

As human who has long identified as a rational, but humble business person, it is stretching my boundaries in a beautiful way, and pushing me to do deeper work on myself, as I launch my personal brand with all of its new offerings. Yet here we are, and the journey begins. Thank you for being here in this moment with me. If you are reading this now, I know that it is because we have touched each other’s lives in a meaningful way, be that big or small, and I am in deep gratitude for our connection.

I have received numerous, and quite constant requests from friends all over the globe to begin writing about my adventures, studies, thoughts and experiences as well as recording and sharing the practices that I work with. My personal brand, Equipped Consciousness is the culmination of the decision to stop dragging my feet, and listen to the call to use my voice, and spread my words and practices more widely.  The launch of my brand, for me, also means committing to deepening my practices as a student, so I can continue to live in the values that I teach.

What is Equipped Consciousness

Through Equipped Consciousness I will write, speak and work with individuals and groups through one-on-one coaching, retreats and events. I want the topic of my dialogue and my work to be focused on what I know, love and live every day; plant food, plant medicine, business, travel, philosophy, and the spiritual, mystical and healing space. Equipped Consciousness is my way of giving back by sharing my practices and tools that helped me create a more grounded intentional way of living, working and being. This is my system that I have developed to support people on their journey of personal or professional growth, healing and creating their own brand of magic.

Equipped Consciousness means finding a deep, integrated awareness and understanding of self, working from there to goal set and manifest, and then creating a "tool box" of resources to equip yourself to succeed in the ways that are valuable to you.  Imagine creating your own personal arsenal of tools with breathwork, meditation, communication, and concentration practices, to fortify your mind, body and soul to be at peace, make the best of whatever life throws at you, and manifest your dreams. I am calling in connection with people who resonate with my experience; executives, entrepreneurs and go-getters who are ready to trade their burnout for balance, women who want to shift how they embody their divine feminine in life and business, and medicine workers, spiritual seekers and people on a journey of discovery, healing and integrating with psychedelics.

This years is going to be a big lifestyle shift for me. For those of you who do not know me well, my work is vast, diverse, and until now, focused more in the professional space. I am the CEO at my company Consciously Planted, where I support plant-based, sustainable companies, entrepreneurs and non-profits in growing from the ground up. I am a Venture Associate at Beyond Animal, a venture-backed impact investment match making platform. I also advise medicine workers, healers, churches and non-profits at Crystals & Smudge Sticks. Last but not least I am a founder at the marketing & communications company OMVino.

As with any new beginning, launching my brand has come with lots of hard work, countless hours spent and a rich process of self exploration.  It really brought me to understand how the exploration of consciousness has been a theme for me since I was a child.  From psychedelics, to business, to mindfulness coaching, to buddhism I am constantly dealing with consciousness in some form, hence the name Equipped Consciousness for my methodology. If there is anything I have learned this year, it is that if all of these realms I dabble in (rational, business, spiritual, mystical)were not separated by such a gap, the world would be a different place.  I aim to bring that separation closer together in all the ways that I can through my work.  I am nothing if not complex, and I can’t wait to explore the interconnectedness of these spaces with you as I step into honoring all of these unique pieces of my world fully.

Here is what’s next:

• I will be writing my blog with a weekly update - maybe more if I am feeling frisky and less if I am feeling busy.

• I will be planning a retreats and events both in the US and aboard.

• I am looking for opportunities to speak publicly, be that at events or on podcasts - if you have an idea or an intro that might be a good fit, let’s explore it!

• I am planning my first TedX for end of the year (ETA pending) and just wrapped up a very impactful course lead by Dan Young at Ready Speaker One.

• I will be diving further into writing my book - TBD on timing but I am going to try to sync it with my TedX launch because the topics are related.

• I am broadening my coaching skill set and working towards certification with the Conscious Leadership Group.

• I will be working to further my buddhist studies with a celebrated musician, artist and Tibetan Lama named Lama Dorje - check him out on Spotify.

• I will support Lama Dorje’s Costa Rica based non-profit Lama Dorje Foundation as a marketing advisor while he builds his center in Costa Rica.

• I will be continuing to study hermetics, qigong and Chinese medicine with my teacher Paul Diamond at Tantraya in Pisac, Peru.

• Last, but NOT least, I am also blessed to be working with one of my favorite women Nicole Derseweh to launch her vegan carrot lox brand - Love Lox!.

Whew. 2023 was a hell of a year for learning, planning, growing and manifesting. I am feeling, ready in 2024 to truly blast off and embody this new energy I am calling in… it is TIME!
